Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Optional: sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker
In a bowl, mix together chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper
Pour the mixture over the chicken
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry
Stir the slurry into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking to thicken the sauce
Once done, remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred using two forks
Serve chicken with sauce spooned over the top, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired
